World Future Energy Summit 2016

For the second year in a row the Hydros Foundation is taking part in the World Future Energy Summit, a key annual event for all international energy stakeholders held in Abu Dhabi from 18 to 21 January 2016. Come and visit us at the Switzerland Pavilion!

The World Future Energy Summit (WFES) is both the largest gathering on future energies in the Middle East and an anchoring event of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. Over 30'000 visitors, 170 countries and 650 exhibitors are expected to attend this 9th edition.

The Hydros Foundation is exhibiting as part of the Switzerland Pavilion to meet with the numerous experts, policymakers, business leaders, investors and academics also present at the event. These 3 days will be a great opportunity to discuss maritime and nautical energy efficiency, the economic and environmental challenges faced by the maritime industry and the need to address them through technological innovation.

The Foundation will also use this opportunity to promote its core initiatives and programmes, especially the Hydrocontest, its international competition dedicated to incubating the boats of tomorrow, which will next take place in July 2016 in Switzerland, as well as the Little Cup, the next edition of which is planned for 2017 in a new host country currently under selection.

In addition to being an excellent showcase for its exhibitors, the WFES is a unique annual occasion to attend and learn from the conferences and workshops focusing on various topics related to energy efficiency, renewable energy and clean technology applied to all sorts of industries, and to discover a preview of the latest initiatives and innovations in these fields.
